The damaged Patriot system in Ukraine was repaired and fully returned to service, said Sabrina Singh, spokeswoman for the US defense department.
Earlier it became known that the American Patriot system received “minimal” damage as a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of May 16. US officials told CNN that the system was working and the Patriot radar, one of its critical components, was not damaged. It is not known for certain which part of the Patriot air defense system was damaged as a result of a missile attack or falling debris.
