The Estonian Parliament announced the need to formulate at the summit in Vilnius concrete and unambiguous measures necessary for the rapid integration of Ukraine into NATO.
On May 17, the Parliament of Estonia adopted a statement in support of Ukraine’s accession to NATO. This was stated in the statement of the Parliament.
“Along with other Baltic states, Estonia has always supported Ukraine’s accession to NATO and considers it necessary to plan concrete steps for the country’s accession to the alliance during the NATO summit to be held in Vilnius on July 11-12,” the document said.
Also, the Parliament of Estonia announced the need to formulate at the summit in Vilnius specific and unambiguous measures necessary for Ukraine’s rapid integration into NATO and to issue an invitation to join the Alliance.
Earlier, France supported Ukraine’s move to NATO.
Remember, Zelensky announced Ukraine’s expectations from NATO. According to him, Ukraine understands that the country will not become a member of NATO during the war with Russia. But there needs to be a clear signal that this will happen after the battles.
