Russia lost almost 200,000 invaders in the war with Ukraine – General Staff

The total combat losses of the occupying army of Russia from February 24, 2022 to May 16, 2023 approximately amounted to about 199 thousand 980 soldiers of the Russian Federation.

Over the past day, the defenders of Ukraine denazified another 520 invaders. This was announced on Tuesday by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In general, Russia’s losses since the beginning of a full-scale invasion are approximately:

• personnel – 199 thousand 980 (+520 over the past day);

• tanks – 3 thousand 762 (+3);

• armored vehicles – 7 thousand 348 (+12);

• artillery systems – 3 thousand 150 (+13);

• multiple launch rocket systems – 562;

• air defense systems – 316;

• aircraft – 308;

• helicopters – 294;

• drones of various types – 2,732 (+12);

• cruise missiles – 973;

• ships / boats – 18;

• vehicles and tank trucks – 6048 (+14);

• special equipment – 410 (+3).
