The Russian Ministry of Defense says its air defense “shot down” an Anglo-French-made missile, allegedly launched by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russian Defense Ministry said Russian air defenses allegedly shot down a Storm Shadow long-range cruise missile. This is stated in the code published on May 15.
“During the day, seven HARM anti-radar missiles, one Storm Shadow long-range cruise missile, and ten HIMARS multiple rocket launchers were intercepted,” said Igor Konashenkov, the department’s spokesman.
Earlier it was reported that in the temporarily occupied Luhansk there were several explosions on the territory of the former aviation school, where the barracks of “LPR” fighters are located. According to local “authorities”, the attack was allegedly carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine using new Storm Shadow missiles.
