In the Czech Republic money was raised for the MLRS RM-70 for Ukraine

The multiple rocket launcher system, costing more than $2 million, will be deployed within weeks.

In the Czech Republic, they raised $2.3 million for Ukraine for the purchase of RM-70 MLRS and 365 missiles for it. This collection was held as part of the Gift for Putin initiative. The results of the collection on Sunday, May 14, were announced by the organizers Twitter.

“In just two and a half months, 19,165 people and companies have contributed. The rocket launcher is expected to be deployed within a few weeks,” the statement said.

Organizers added that tomorrow they will start raising money for “something no one else in the world has collected.” And they promise that “it’s going to be really explosive.”

Recall that the collection for MLRS for Ukraine was launched at the end of February this year, and in the first four hours the Czechs donated more than 84,000 euros.
