Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to inflict powerful strikes on hostile positions.

Aviation of the Defense Forces delivered eight strikes per day on areas where enemy personnel and military equipment were concentrated, as well as a strike on a hostile anti-aircraft missile system. The defenders also shot down two enemy reconnaissance UAVs of the Orlan-10 type. Rocket troops and artillery hit four manpower concentration areas, two ammunition trains, and two enemy electronic warfare stations. This is stated in the evening building of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for May 13.
The General Staff emphasized that the enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions. Today, the Defense Forces repelled about 40 enemy attacks.
So, in the Kupyansk direction, the Russians unsuccessfully advanced in the area of u200bu200bNovoselovsky and the eastern outskirts of Stelmahovka. In the Bakhmut direction, not only the battles for Bakhmukh continue, the Ukrainian defenders repelled the assaults of the invaders in the direction of Bogdanovka and Belaya Gora.
The Ukrainian military also repelled numerous enemy attacks in the Maryinka area. Also, the fighters force the invaders to defend themselves in the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions.
The command emphasized that along with the conduct of positional defense, the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are also conducting active operations, in particular offensive ones.
Recall that the commander of the Eastern Group of Forces Alexander Syrsky reported today that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are successfully moving forward in some areas of the Bakhmut direction and inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment.
