The head of state said that the first important steps will soon be taken as part of the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
President Volodymyr Zelensky believes the first major steps in the Ukrainian counteroffensive will take place “soon.” The head of state said this in an interview with Italian media on Saturday, May 13.
“We are preparing very seriously. And very serious steps will be required. I know that we are all motivated. And not only those who know this plan, but our people. I cannot tell you where and when the counteroffensive will start. But you you will definitely see it, and Russia will definitely feel it… We believe in success and we believe that the first important steps will be taken soon,” Zelensky said.
At the same time, the president emphasized that his frankness about the specific place and time of the start of the counter-offensive “will not help Ukraine, but will interfere.”
Remember, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, under the direction of Bakhmut, the Russians continue to conduct offensive operations, at the same time, the defenders of Ukraine, including positional defense, are also conducting offensive operation.
In one day in the direction of Bakhmut, the Ukrainian military managed to advance another 300 meters deep into the enemy.
