Kyiv received a notification from the London City Hall of support for Ukraine before the Eurovision final.
A letter from the capital of Great Britain says that blue and yellow lights will appear today in various places around London as a sign of support for Ukraine, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on his social networks.
In addition, Eurovision fans in London will unite to watch the final of the contest in the official fan zone in Battersea Park.
Recall that the UK hosts the song contest on behalf of Ukraine, Eurovision takes place this year in Liverpool due to security conditions.
We thank our British friends for their unswerving support and assistance to Ukraine and Kyiv,” Klitschko wrote.
The representative of Ukraine, the TVORCHI group, immediately got to the final of the show on May 13, where they will perform the song Heart of Steel (“Steel Heart”) at number 19.
