This statement was made by the speaker of the Kremlin dictator Dmitry Peskov, his comment is quoted by the telegram channel of propagandists from “You were listening to Mayak”.
The Kremlin spokesman said that Russia “does not interfere in the internal affairs and electoral processes” of other countries and appreciates relations with Turkey.
A country that highly values bilateral relations will, moreover, do nothing towards its partner,” Peskov said.
He added that Russia “strongly rejects” such claims.
We officially declare that there can be no talk of any intervention. And if someone provided such information to Mr. Kilichdaroglu, then they are liars,” Peskov said.
Kemal Kilicdaroglu turned to Russia on the evening of May 11, posting two tweets in Turkish and in Russian:
Dear Russian friends, you are behind the montages, conspiracies, Deep Fake content and recordings that were exposed yesterday in our country. If you want to continue our friendship after May 15, keep your hands as far away from the Turkish state as possible. We still stand for cooperation and friendship, said the Turkish presidential candidate.
Kemal Kilicdaroglu made the announcement after Recep Tayyip Erdogan showed a fan a video of a Kurdish militant leader urging people to vote for Kemal Kilicdaroglu.
The first round of presidential elections in Turkey is scheduled for May 14. On the same day parliamentary elections will be held in the country.
