It was noted that Ukrainian defenders made 26 attacks, involving more than a thousand military personnel, as well as up to 40 tanks.
Konashenkov claims that allegedly “the attacks were repulsed” and “defensive breakthroughs of the Russian troops were not allowed,” but at the same time the Russians retreated for some reason.
“To increase the stability of the defense, the units of the Southern Group of Russian Forces occupied a line in the direction of Maloiliino, taking into account the favorable conditions of the Berkhovskoye reservoir,” the Russian general added.
It will be remembered that yesterday the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to repel the invaders in Bakhmut.
Today, Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have advanced 2 km in the direction of Bakhmut and have not lost a single position in a week.
