The parade on Red Square in Moscow on May 9 was held with a small number of units of military equipment of the aggressor country Russia. In particular, only one tank passed through the square and it was from the Second World War.
Radio Liberty writes about this, referring to the calculations of analyst Oliver Alexander.
According to him, in total, only 51 units of military equipment passed through Red Square this year. For comparison, in 2021 there were 197 of them. The passage of military equipment at the parade took less than 10 minutes.
The parade itself lasted about 45 minutes, including a detour of troops and a speech by war criminal Vladimir Putin. Alexander, like many other commentators, drew attention to the lack of modern tanks. The parade did without heavy armored vehicles for the first time since 2007.
At the same time, the Kremlin boasted at the parade of Iskander, S-400 missile systems and three Yars intercontinental ballistic missiles.
