On May 9, a military parade took place on Red Square – without modern tanks and aircraft flights.
On May 9, a military parade took place in Moscow. The expected drone strike or emergency did not occur during the march. But something unexpected happened – not a single tank passed through Red Square, except for the museum T-34. Also, holiday organizers filmed the air part of the parade.
dictator’s speech
The parade was opened by Russian President Vladimir Putin. His speech, like last year, contained no sensationalism and was very brief. In particular, he compared the war in Ukraine to the attack on the USSR in 1941. Putin said that “a real war has been unleashed against us,” and Russia allegedly “will protect the inhabitants of Donbass and secure itself its security.”

He also accused “Western globalist elites” of “the ideology of their own exclusivity”, comparing them to the Nazis.
“They seem to have forgotten who defeated this great evil,” the Russian president said.
“Any ideology of superiority is disgusting, criminal and deadly, but the Western elites still talk about their exclusivity … The goal of the opponents, and there is nothing new here, is to achieve disintegration and destruction of our country,” Putin added.
Where are the tanks?
After Putin’s speech, a military parade began, where, among other things, remnants of military equipment were presented. One of the first launched Yarsy – strategic missile system with intercontinental ballistic missiles.
Note that not a single tank passed through the parade on Red Square, except for the museum T-34. At the same time, the air part of the parade was also canceled.

During the procession, “drone catchers” were seen. But despite this, the loud sound still scared Putin and his entourage.
With the leader of Russia, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, the Presidents of Kazakhstan Kasim-Zhomart Tokayev, Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirzioev, as well as the formal leader of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko was present at the podium with the leaders of Russia.
Evening “greeting” of Ukraine
On the night “sacred” for Russia on May 9, the invaders fired 25 Caliber and Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles all over Ukraine. According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, 23 of them were destroyed by the air defense of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with parts of the Defense Forces.
In total, on the night of May 9, the Russian invaders carried out two waves of shelling of Ukraine. In particular, around 10 pm on May 8, the enemy launched eight Caliber cruise missiles from carriers in the Black Sea, which they sent to the eastern regions of the country. All eight were destroyed.
Closer to 04.00 am on May 9, the Russians launched 17 Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles from strategic aircraft – four Tu-95MS (Caspian region). Air defense forces destroyed 15 missiles.
