The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny had a telephone conversation with the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Telegram on Saturday, May 6.
“In a telephone conversation, he informed about the situation at the front and preparations for the upcoming steps of our army to remove the occupied Ukrainian territory,” Zaluzhny wrote.
He also thanked the United States for another package of military aid to Ukraine, announced the day before by the Pentagon.
“We agreed with General Milli to continue to actively cooperate. Our goal is the victory of Ukraine! “Valeriy Zaluzhny added.
Earlier, Mark Milley assessed the readiness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for a counter-offensive. According to him, the Ukrainian army has everything needed for this.
Remember that Ukraine is preparing for a counter-offensive. President Volodymyr Zelensky said this on May 4. He also promised “some bad news” for Russians following his international trips.
