The Russian Ministry of Health is considering a ban on the sale of strong alcohol in shops from 20.00 to 11.00, according to the Russian propaganda agency RIA Novosti.
Also considered: raising the minimum age for the sale of hard liquor to 21; prohibition of strong alcohol advertising in new videos, films, video blogs, songs, as well as the display of trademarks of such products; empowering municipalities to impose restrictions on the sale of alcohol on weekends and holidays.
“The department prompted such thoughts to exceed the planned indicators for alcohol sales per capita: for 2022 – 6.44 liters of ethanol against the planned value of 6.22,” the publication said.
It was previously reported that the occupiers banned the sale of alcohol in Zaporozhye.
