Forecasters predict severe cooling in the north of the country, as well as in the northwestern region of Vinnitsa and Cherkasy region.
On the night of May 6, frosts should be expected on the ground of 0-5 ° (hazard level I, yellow), throughout Ukraine – except for the southern part. On May 7, 8 and 9, such a period will be in Transcarpathia and Prykarpattya.
In addition, on the night of May 6-7 in the regions of Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv and Sumy, severe frosts in the air – 0-3 ° (II level of danger, orange).
