Russian propaganda claimed that the Kremlin was attacked by two Ukrainian drones. The incident seems to have occurred on the night of Wednesday, May 3. This was reported in the press service of the Kremlin.
The Russians say that as a result of “timely actions taken by the security forces with the use of radar warfare systems, the devices were put out of action.” However, footage has already appeared on the network of how smoke is seen above the Kremlin and the roof of one of the buildings is on fire.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that “Putin did not suffer” because he was not in the Kremlin at the time of the attack. Allegedly, the dictator is now working in his residence near Moscow in Novo-Ogarevo.
Also, Putin’s press service said that Russia “reserves the right to respond to an attempted strike on the Kremlin, where and when it sees fit.”
The Kremlin regards the attack attempt by the Kyiv regime as a planned terrorist act and an attempt on the life of the President of Russia on the eve of Victory Day, they noted.
The Ukrainian authorities have not yet commented on the statement of the Russian dictatorship.
Meanwhile, the Moscow authorities have banned the launch of unmanned aerial vehicles since May 3, with the exception of UAVs used by decisions of the state authorities of the aggressor country.
Recall that in February, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said that Ukraine has weapons of its own production, which can destroy targets on the territory of the aggressor country, Russia. Kiev noted that military targets in Russia are legal for strikes.
