The Belarusians could not shoot down the slow-moving UAV, despite the Belarusian lieutenant’s attempts to “encourage” them with shouts.
Belarusian border guards embarrassed themselves when they tried to open fire on a Ukrainian drone monitoring the Ukrainian state border line. Belarusians have never entered the UAV in any position: neither standing nor lying down. This was announced on Wednesday, May 3, by war correspondent Andrei Tsaplienko and posted on his Telegram channel a video recording of what this strange event looks like from the air.
He noted that in the video posted by the Belarusian side, apart from “the stupid orders of the lieutenant and the vulgarity of the subordinates, nothing is clear.”
In the video from the Ukrainian drone, you can see that the Belarusian border guards “lost” all their skills – they could not hit the target even once. A lieutenant stood next to the three awkward fighters, cheering them on with his shouts and trying to remind them “how it was during training.”
“You can only imagine how our border guards laughed while watching this on the monitor screen,” said Tsaplienko.
The journalist added against the background of this video that “Belarusians who support Russia in the unleashed war against Ukraine” should not think about “coming to us with weapons in hand.”
“Looking at the actions of the Belarusian border guards, we can say that they are not ready to counter the mavics, even an ordinary observant, slow-moving UAV is a difficult target for them,” he stressed.
Recall that the Moscow police are looking for a yellow-blue pigeon with a mine-petal, depicting the capital letter “U”. Russian law enforcement officials gathered such “identikit” according to the description of a local resident.
