Anti-aircraft gunners of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shared their impressions of the successful work of German equipment at the front in Ukraine.
The Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, said that a division of the IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile system has already shot down 60 air targets in Ukraine. At the same time, the second division took over the battle role.
“The German-made IRIS-T air defense system has been protecting Ukrainian skies from Russian terrorism since October 2022. Since then, the IRIS-T air defense system has destroyed more than 60 enemy air targets,” he said.
According to Oleshchuk, at the end of April, the second division of IRIS-T took on combat duty in Ukraine.
He also posted a video where Air Force anti-aircraft gunners shared their impressions of the successful operation of German technology.
Recall that Germany confirmed the transfer of the second Iris-T system to Ukraine.
