The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will pay an official visit to Finland. This was announced on Wednesday, May 3, by the Office of the President of Finland.
Official talks between Zelensky and Finnish President Sauli Niiniste are expected to take place during the visit. They will relate the struggle of Ukraine against Russia and the support of our state from Finland, as well as the bilateral relations between the countries and the global geopolitical situation. At the end of the talks, the heads of states will hold a joint press conference.
During the visit, Zelensky will also participate in a meeting of the prime ministers of the Nordic countries – Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland. It will take place in the afternoon at the Presidential Palace and will be devoted to support for Ukraine and other security issues.
Zelensky will also meet with Speaker of the Finnish Parliament Petteri Orppo.
Recall that the last time the presidents of Ukraine and Finland met on January 24. Then Saulli Niiniste came to Kyiv on an unannounced visit.
It was also learned that Finland agreed to send to Ukraine the 15th package of military aid in the amount of about 78 million euros.
