Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, said that Ukraine would dismiss Crimea, temporarily occupied by the aggressor country Russia, “in such a way as it deems necessary.”

It’s hard for me to say whether they will give something away without a fight. The only thing I can say is that, if necessary, we will fire in such a way that we consider necessary for the time of making certain decisions. And if there is a need for us to use slightly different means there, they will certainly be used, and we are not going to ask anyone for permission on this matter. This is our land, and our task is to liberate it, Danilov said on Radio Liberty on May 2.
Thus, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council commented on the words of Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov in an interview with The Atlantic that Kyiv would return the occupied Crimea “without a fight.”
In addition, Danilov recalled the explosions that are periodically heard on the occupied peninsula.
The Lord is merciful to our country, he periodically sends signals to rashists, now this is how it should be said that they need to get out of there. And these signals go in the appropriate way. I think that those people who have a little intelligence understand that they need to get out of the peninsula as soon as possible,” said the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
Recall that earlier the head of Ukrainian intelligence, Kirill Budanov, said that the preparation for the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “follows the plan”, but he will not voice the plans for its implementation. Kurt Volker, the former special representative of the US State Department for Ukraine, said that Ukraine needs to isolate Crimea from Russia now, cutting off the logistical ties of the peninsula with the territory of the Russian Federation. This will be the first significant step towards the return of Crimea without the use of military force, he said.
