A neo-imperial, totalitarian dictatorship has emerged in Russia, replicating the worst practices of the past, MPs say.
The Verkhovna Rada supported the draft resolution, according to which the current political regime in Russia is officially recognized as racism. This was announced by People’s Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko on Telegram on Tuesday, May 2.
According to him, in today’s meeting, the corresponding initiative was supported by 281 deputies.
According to the authors of the resolution, a neo-imperial, totalitarian dictatorship has been formed in Russia, which imitates the worst practices of the past and contains the ideas of fascism and national socialism in the modern version of Russian fascism, especially racism.
The initiative also called for the UN, European Parliament, Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, NATO Parliamentary Assembly, governments and parliaments of foreign states to support the condemnation of the ideology, policy and practice of racism. .
