The minister said that the allies “want to invest in success” and it is very important for them that the weapons and assistance they provide lead to results.
Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said the success of the Ukrainian counteroffensive would go a long way to ensuring continued support from partners. He said this in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
“My partners in all meetings, in phone conversations and in Ramstein always say the same thing: “We are with you until the end, no matter how long. And we see your victory as the end.” This is important. Of course, they are all politicians, behind them are the parliaments that agree or disagree on certain things. And the voters stand on behind the parliaments. Therefore, of course, it will be easier for them to promote new aid packages to Ukraine in the presence of successful cases,” said Reznikov.
According to the minister, the allies “want to invest in success” and it is very important for them that the weapons and assistance they provide lead to results.
Recall that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky warned that the war could last years or even decades, so the allies must now support the Ukrainians in order not to increase the risk of a third world war.
As the Defense Forces reported earlier, the Ukrainian army’s counter-offensive is already underway and the mighty Russian occupying forces are being decimated.
