This was reported by the press center of the SBU.
It is noted that on the basis of the evidence collected by the SBU and the DBR, an indictment was sent to the court under two articles of the Criminal Code:
- Part 1 Art. 111 (high treason);
- Part 1 Art. 125 (infliction of intentional light bodily harm).
During 2020-2021, he actively assisted the top military-political leadership of Russia in carrying out large-scale subversive activities against Ukraine, the SBU notes.
According to the intelligence service, Voloshin deliberately tried to manipulate the public opinion of Ukrainian citizens in the interests of the aggressor country. In particular:
- being in the ranks of the banned OPPL party, he publicly disseminated Kremlin narratives about the socio-political situation in our state;
- in his numerous messages on social networks and speeches on television, Voloshin tried to discredit Ukraine in the international arena;
- publicly justified the creation and activities of terrorist organizations “l / dnr”.
At the same time, the fact of causing intentional bodily harm to another citizen was documented, the special service added.
Due to the fact that the deputy fled to Russia, where he is now hiding from justice, the prosecutors will work on a special trial to bring him to justice.
