Russian shelling did not damage power generating facilities, but there was significant damage to distribution networks. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
As a result:
- de-energized part of consumers in the city of Dnipro and the region;
- in the Kherson region due to the shelling, more than 11 thousand subscribers were de-energized in the city of Kherson and 7.1 thousand in the region.
Complete elimination of damage will take several days, the Ministry of Energy notes.
The department notes that power engineers are working around the clock to resume electricity supplies.
In particular, over the past 24 hours, more than 7,000 subscribers healed in the Donetsk region and about 3,000 in the Sumy region, the Ministry of Energy notes.
