The Ukrainian general told the ally about the situation at the front and described possible scenarios, threats and prerequisites for future actions of the defense forces. He also noted the need to provide Ukraine with a wide range of weapons and air defense systems, which will significantly help solve problematic moments in confronting Russian aggression. On April 30, Zaluzhny wrote about this in Telegram.

Also, Zaluzhny and Cavoli discussed the issues of training fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The parties agreed to continue to maintain dialogue and work to strengthen the defense capability of Ukraine.
Recall, on April 13, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny met with the Chief of the Joint Staff of the French Armed Forces, General of the Army Thierry Burkar. The generals discussed the situation at the front and the need to provide Ukraine with artillery shells, air defense equipment and F-16 fighters.
