According to the investigation, a tipsy 59-year-old resident of Nikolaev became a suspect – a verbal conflict arose between him and another local resident. After the attacker received a grenade and threw it, which led to the wounding of a 51-year-old passerby and himself.
Law enforcement officials informed the man of the suspicion of committing crimes under two articles: attempted murder (Article 15, paragraph 1.5, part 2, article 115) and illegal possession of weapons, ammunition or explosives (part 1, article 263 ). He faces up to 15 years in prison.
It will be remembered that this incident took place on April 28. A sudden explosion near one of the houses on Tsentralny Avenue forced the residents of high-rise buildings to come out with documents and things to a safe place, they thought that they are “arrivals”.
And last week in Zaporozhye there was a grenade explosion in a residential building. Then a 35-year-old man died, and his mother was hospitalized in a state of shock.
