The defense forces are trying to clear the enemy’s presence in the 30-kilometer zone of the left bank of the Dnieper to reduce the shelling of the right bank.
Ukrainian defenders in the Kherson region are trying to clear the presence of occupying troops in a 30-kilometer zone on the left bank. The head of the OK Yug press center, Natalya Gumenyuk, said this on the air of Channel 24.
He noted that recently there was unrest in the area of the bridge of Antonovsky, Oleshek and Hola Pristan in the Kherson region. In addition, explosions continue to occur on the left bank of the Dnieper. According to him, now there are military operations.
“This is normal combat work. In the 30-kilometer zone of the left bank, we are trying to clear the presence of the enemy so that they can reduce shelling on the right bank,” Gumenyuk explained.
He also noted that due to the news about the presence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the left bank of the Dnieper, the Russian invaders began to take revenge on the civilian residents of Kherson. Shelling the right bank with KAB-500 guided aerial bombs was almost doubled.
“If earlier the KAB flew 2-3, now almost every day they send 5-6 missiles to the Kherson and Berislav regions. The communities of these coastal regions suffer greatly from shelling,” added Burn
According to him, the Russian invaders will “turn back” in the direction of Kherson, because the enemy is afraid of the advance of Ukrainian troops. At the same time, the Defense Forces continue the counter-battery battle – it is known about the destruction of four enemy observation posts, where the Russian troops planned to rotate.
Earlier, Gumenyuk spoke about the destruction of a large number of enemy equipment on the left bank.
