At least 85 people have died and hundreds have been injured in the stampede in the capital of Yemen during the delivery of eight dollars in aid for ramadan holidayone of the worst tragedies in an impoverished country, in which the end of a long civil war begins to glimpse.

Heartbreaking footage aired on Houthi TV Al Masirah they showed a crowd of people gathered together and people were trying to climb over the rest to get out of the crush.
Other footage showed bodies in a panic on the ground. The site was later littered with piles of discarded sandals, clothing and crutches as an investigator in a hazmat suit collected evidence.
