The UN Population Fund report shows that on average a woman in Ukraine lives 10 years longer than a man.
The UN Population Fund said that 36.7 million people will live in Ukraine in 2023. This is confirmed by the Fund’s report.
According to these data in Ukraine live:

64.6% of people aged 15 to 64;

20.2% of people aged 65+;

15.2% of citizens under 14 years of age.
On average, a woman in Ukraine lives 10 years longer than a man, the report said. The average life expectancy for a woman is 78 years and for a man 68 years.
The total fertility rate (the average number of children a woman has during her reproductive age) in Ukraine in 2023 is considered by the Population Fund to be one of the lowest in recent years – 2.19.
In 2020, this figure was 2.30, and in 2013 – 2.44.
The UN Foundation adds that by 2023, 54% of all women in Ukraine will use contraception.
Among women who are married or married civilly or guest, 68% enjoy protection.
