Russian publications, citing Ministry of Internal Affairs sources, said that Ukrainians were allegedly among the “clients” of law enforcement officers.
The Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation suspects the Moscow police of disseminating classified information for monetary reward. This was reported by a Russian propaganda publication RBC with reference to the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on Wednesday, April 19.
“Operational measures have been taken in almost all police departments of the Central District. Inspectors have carried out seizures of documentation and computer information,” he said.
According to the Russian official, law enforcement officers can obtain passwords to enter information systems, from which they download the necessary data.
He claims that Moscow police officers passed this data on to customers, who allegedly “include citizens of Ukraine.”
The media said that employees of the Department of Internal Affairs are now under suspicion.
Recall, the American edition of the New York Times reported that allegedly classified documents appeared on Twitter and Telegram with details of the plans of the United States and NATO to strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine before the planned counteroffensive.
The Office of the President made it clear that Russia is behind this “leak”, and the enemy will soon see the real plan of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the battlefield.
