Alliance member countries should increase the supply of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to assist in the counter-offensive.
NATO, along with its allies, must provide Ukraine with more weapons and resources to ensure the acceleration of the de-occupation of Ukrainian territories seized by Russia. This is what NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said, CNN reports.
“We recognize the large amount of weapons, ammunition, supplies that have already been donated to Ukraine, but we need to do more,” he said.
According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine need to be given more weapons. Thus, NATO members will help Ukraine to conduct an effective counter-offensive and liberate the territories seized by the invaders.
“Because we must ensure that the Ukrainians are in a position where they can break the Russian lines, as well as through mines, and are in a position where they can liberate, return the territory,” Stoltenberg stressed.
Recall that the Verkhovna Rada called on NATO member countries to support Ukraine’s entry into the Alliance.
