Former People’s Deputy Oleg Barna died in the battles for Ukraine. This was announced on Tuesday, April 18, by Aleksey Dmitrashkovsky, spokesman of the joint press center of the Tauride Defense Forces, on his Facebook page.
According to him, the former deputy of the people died on April 17, a day before his birthday.
Dmitrashkovsky added that Barna has been defending Ukraine since the early days of the Russian invasion.
The spokesperson added that Barna has been fighting since 2014. Later he returned from the front and became the People’s Deputy of the VIII convocation.
After February 24, 2022, the former MP went again to defend the country. He served in the 68th separate jäger brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush.
The one who died on April 18 should have been 56 years old.
