This year there will be no traditional face-to-face procession “Immortal Regiment” in Russia. This was announced by the co-chairman of the central headquarters of the Immortal Regiment of Russia OOD, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Elena Tsunaeva, writes TASS.
It is reported that Russians are offered to post photos of their veteran relatives on social networks, on clothes, cars and on the movement’s website.
Tsunaeva also reported that the marches may take place abroad, but clarity on this issue will appear “closer to May 9,” and now the organizers are “submitting applications for action.”
It was previously reported that the occupiers of Crimea canceled the May 9 parade.
