It was planned to use nine brigades in the Ukrainian offensive. This is stated in the Pentagon leaked materials.
The American edition of Newsweek, citing “secret Pentagon documents” that entered the Network, says that the planned offensive in Ukraine will begin on April 30.
It is noted that this follows from “American intelligence documents” released three weeks ago.
“The documents marked “secret” and “top secret” provide important insight into the course of the war in Ukraine.
According to one of the 20 documents published by Newsweek, nine brigades were planned to be involved in the Ukrainian offensive.
“The total amount of equipment needed for them” is 253 tanks, 381 mechanized vehicles, 480 vehicles and 147 artillery pieces, including the delivery of 571 American HMMWV armored vehicles,” the text said.
In addition, it follows from the document that “all training of the Ukrainian army by the United States and allies is conducted outside Ukraine.”
How the publication of “secret documents” will affect Ukraine’s plans is still unknown.
Earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will begin in the near future and will eventually allow the return of all Ukrainian territories within the 1991 borders.
Remember that the White House is not sure of the authenticity of the “leaked” data. They believe that the documents may contain incomplete information, or be fake.
