A US administration official said the documents may be incomplete or fake because they do not reflect the latest US intelligence.
Pentagon documents “leaked” on the network may be fake. John Kirby, White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator, made this statement on Monday, April 17, in a teleconference, reports Today News Africa’s Simon Ateba in Twitter.
“John Kirby continues to advance the claim that the documents reportedly leaked by Jack Teixeira may be fake and that they represent only incomplete pictures that do not reflect the latest US intelligence,” the journalist wrote.
Kirby added that President Joe Biden is serious about protecting the secrets of the United States. They don’t yet know if Teixeira acted alone, details of the investigation have not been released.
Recall that earlier allegedly secret documents about the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a detailed description of the plans of the United States and NATO appeared on Twitter and Telegram.
Then the United States announced a new leak of a batch of secret documents describing US national security principles. The documents relate to the war in Ukraine, China and the Middle East.
On April 13, Jack Teixeira, a 21-year-old US Air Force officer, was detained on suspicion of leaking documents.
