The Russian military increased the intensity of strikes with heavy artillery and aircraft in the direction of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. This is what Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar said on her Telegram channel on Monday, April 17.
“Bakhmut (direction – ed.) – the intensity of the use of heavy artillery and air strikes increased. The enemy only compared the buildings and structures of the city of Bakhmut to the ground,” the official said.
According to him, the unsuccessful offensive of the Russian invaders in the directions of Limansky, Avdeevsky, Maryinsky and Kupyansky continues today.
In addition, Bakhmut and Marinka remain in the center of the battle.
