Russia is ramping up production of unmanned aerial vehicles. Yuriy Ignat, press secretary of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announced this on the air of the national telethon.
“In addition to the shaheeds, we know that the enemy uses lancets. There is certain opposition to these lancets, they are shot down and traps are made for these UAVs. They (the Russians – ed.) are often trying to hit our air defense facilities with them, I have in mind radar stations, launchers,” he said.
According to Ignat, the danger is still there. Therefore, against drones, it is also necessary to increase the cover of our air defense system and armored vehicles.
The spokesman of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that in recent months there have been more “lancets”, which may indicate that Russia has worked on their production. UAVs have small warheads, so they are sent on equipment.
Recall that the spokesperson of OK South Natalya Gumenyuk said that the Russians will save the missiles, but new attacks are not ruled out.
