Sergei Cherevaty, representative of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spoke about this on the air of the national telethon.
Cherevaty noted that the Russian army is suffering heavy losses, incomparable with its losses in past wars. The Russians continue to throw former prisoners to the front every day, who have become the main ramming force, while other units of the Russian army are acting more prudently.
Rashists also continue to actively fire at the positions of the Ukrainian military in the Bakhmut direction – 265 shellings from cannon and rocket artillery took place during the day.
There were 31 clashes, only in the area of u200bu200bBakhmut itself – 30. At the same time, the city was shelled 97 times, Cherevaty noted.
