“The number of dead in the clashes between the army and the Rapid Support Forces rose to 56, and the number of wounded to 595,” the statement said.
Also, a military source said that the Sudanese army managed to control the headquarters of the Rapid Reaction Forces in the city of Kassala.
The Rapid Reaction Forces said they were allegedly attacked by foreign aircraft in the city of Port Sudan. They warned of the consequences of any foreign intervention.
