Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov said that the agenda of the democratic world should be the question of Russia’s transformation, which includes denazification. He wrote about it v Facebook on the results of its speech at the Black Sea Conference on the Security of the International Crimean Platform in Bucharest.
“The issue of Russia’s transformation must be on the agenda … Russia must become a democratic federation. Go through denazification, extradite criminals, pay damages. Otherwise, there is no trust. There must be a common position, including one fixed by a system of powerful sanctions, which without a change to a truly democratic federation, Russia will not be able to restore relations with the civilized world,” said Reznikov.
He also emphasized that the free world must change the paradigm of its actions in the context of rejecting aggression and must have a strategic initiative, be ready to act quickly and preventively.
Speaking about the future of Ukraine, the minister said that there is no alternative to Ukraine in NATO, because “we need a system of safeguards that will minimize the desire to solve something by force.”
“Any models or talks about security in the region that do not provide for the liberation of Crimea from Russian occupation are illusions. We must say goodbye to these illusions. be only one angle – how to liberate?”, – said Reznikov.
The Minister also emphasized that prolonging or “freezing” the war is against the interests of the region.
Reznikov also spoke about the creation of an “armored fist”, which he mentioned to his colleagues from other countries.
