    .

In the Kyiv region, a resident of the Boryspil district was detained, who invented money from the relatives of the missing Ukrainian defender.

The victim of the fraudster was the brother of his fellow villager, junior sergeant of a mechanized platoon of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This military man did not get in touch after the enemy shelling of Ukrainian positions near Bakhmut.

According to investigators, the attacker told a military relative that the missing man was allegedly in a hospital on the territory of Belarus and needed a complex operation.

To save the defender, the businessman offered to transfer 2 thousand dollars. to your own bank cards.

Employees of the SBU caught the attacker in a timely manner, gradually documented three facts of receiving money and detained him.

During a search at the defendant’s address, three mobile phones and a SIM card were found, with which the attacker called the victim, bank cards for which he received money, 90 cartridges of various calibers and a live grenade.

In Vinnitsa, the SBU detained the head of one of the local collection companies, who demanded that a demobilized wounded soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine pay UAH 1 million of an allegedly overdue debt to his mother.

In case of non-payment, he threatened with physical violence.

SBU officers detained the attacker when he received the first part of the money in the amount of UAH 200,000.

The defendant was informed of the suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 189 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (extortion that caused property damage on an especially large scale). A measure of restraint was chosen for him – detention without the possibility of bail.
