The New York Times writes about it.
Jack Teixeira curated a private internet group for 20-30 young people called Thug Shaker Central, who came together through a shared love of guns, racist internet memes and video games. Two U.S. officials confirmed to The New York Times that investigators want to question Teixeira about the leak of government documents. One of the officials said that Teixeira may have information relevant to the investigation.
Earlier, journalists found out that a Discord user under the nickname OG, who claimed to work at a military base, could be behind a large-scale leak of US secret data.
The New York Times spoke to four members of the Thug Shaker Central group, one of whom said he had known the leaker of the Pentagon documents for at least three years and called him OG. Friends described him as “the undisputed leader”. One of them said that OG had access to intelligence documents through his work.
