A ninth grader opened fire on seventh graders near the school and eighth graders in the toilet of the educational institution.
A sixteen-year-old boy in the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg came to school with an air pistol. He fired several times outside and inside the building. As a result of his actions, four children were injured. This was reported by the Russian propaganda news agency TASS with reference to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city and the Leningrad Region.
“Four children were sent to the hospital for medical care,” the report said.
The teenager who started the shooting was taken to the police department, where his father was also invited.
Teachers at the school contacted the police. They reported that a ninth grader at recess after the first lesson was shot by several eighth graders in the bathroom with an air pistol several times.
The police quickly arrived at the scene and took the weapon from the teenager.
“During the trial, it was established that before the start of the school day, a ninth-grader committed a similar act against two other students: on the way to school, he shot two seventh-graders,” added of the police.
