This will ensure the financial stability of the state, and send a clear signal to Russia that allies will support Ukraine as long as necessary to win.
Ukraine plans to receive at least $115 billion in long-term financial assistance from international partners. This was announced on Thursday, April 13, by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal after participating in a ministerial-level round table in support of Ukraine at the World Bank.
“International partners will provide Ukraine with $115 billion in long-term support. he said.
At the same time, he noted that in 2023 Ukraine needs $14 billion for rapid recovery projects.
“We are talking with partners to raise all the necessary funds this summer. This way we will be able to finish all the tasks in the five priority recovery sectors,” added the head of government.
He thanked the US, EU, World Bank, IMF, G7 countries and other international partners who are now helping Ukraine to endure and start to recover.
The World Bank is allocating an additional $200 million to Ukraine for energy recovery.
