Foreign citizens can take part in fighting the war in Ukraine as volunteers.
Two more United States citizens died fighting the Russians, who defended Ukraine from invaders. On Wednesday, April 12, the Daily Beast reported.
The State Department is contacting the families of deceased citizens.
“We can confirm the death of US citizens in Ukraine. We are contacting the families and providing all possible assistance to the consulate. Out of respect for privacy, we have nothing to add at this difficult time,” said a State Department spokesman.
At the same time, information appeared on the GoFundMe fundraising page that Marine Corps veteran Grady Kurpasi had allegedly died in Ukraine.
“Grady went to train soldiers, but due to the intensity of the war and the need for skilled commanders, Grady led a team into battle and was killed in it,” the report said.
Also, the previous day, Russian media reported that an American citizen, Edward Walter, was killed allegedly near Bakhmut.
Note that the State Department has not released the names of the victims.
Since the beginning of April, four fighters from Georgia have died in the war in Ukraine.
