And any information that was true in those files is no longer relevant. The data leak itself is an information operation directed in favor of the Russian Federation and its allies. This statement was made by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov, who is at the summit in Spain. It is reported by Sky News channel.
There is a lot of information out there that is not true. And the information that corresponds to reality has already lost its relevance. That is, it is a mixture of truth and lies. Therefore, I assume that this action was done on purpose,” the minister said.
Reznikov expressed confidence that Ukraine and allies would work to “neutralize this leak and avoid similar things in the future.”
Recall, the American edition of The New York Times reported that Twitter and Telegram had secret documents that describe the plans of the United States and NATO to build up the Ukrainian army before the planned counteroffensive of the Defense Forces.
After the incident, the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, promised to “turn every stone” in search of the source of the leak of classified documents.
And The Washington Post stated that secret documents of the US Department of Defense “leaked” into the network were one of the reasons why the planned counter-offensive of Ukraine was postponed.
