Serbia denies arms supplies to Ukraine

The head of the Serbian Ministry of Defense, Milos Vucevic, claims that Belgrade does not provide weapons to any of the parties to the conflict.

Serbia denied the supply of weapons to Ukraine, which was confirmed by secret Pentagon documents allegedly “leaked” on the network. This was said by Serbian Minister of Defense Milos Vucevic, according to local newspaper Telegraf.

“We have rejected that lie more than ten times, and now we are doing it again. Serbia does not sell and will not sell weapons to either the Ukrainian or Russian side, or the countries surrounding this conflict,” he assured.

According to him, they are allegedly trying to “draw Serbia into the conflict.” He claims that Belgrade only sells weapons to third countries far from Russia’s war against Ukraine.

“There is always the possibility that some kind of weapon will be mysteriously found in the battle area, but this has absolutely nothing to do with Serbia. It is a question for those countries that do not respect international standards, treaty provisions and business practices . I repeat, Serbia did not send arms to Ukraine, and everything published on this topic is false speculation,” added Vucevic.

Recall that Reuters earlier said, citing “leaked” secret documents, that Serbia had agreed to supply weapons to Kyiv or had already sent them.

In addition, according to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucevic, he cannot swear that he will not impose sanctions against Russia.
