The initiator was the deputy from the “Voice” Vladimir Tsabal. People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zaliznyak announced this in his Telegram channel.
Until this resolution is considered in the hall, the Speaker has no right to sign the law. And this will not happen in the coming weeks due to the schedule of the meeting of the Rada,” Zaliznyak said.
Tsabal, commenting on the introduction of this resolution on his Facebook page, calls the amendments to the legislation supported by the Rada, which provide for an increase in payments to the military by limiting the maximum salaries of officials, “populism on the verge of sabotage.”
In his opinion, they will not allow financing the increase in payments to the military in the required amount, and will also solve Ukraine’s international obligations.
The decision on payment limits for employees of the NAPC, NABU, judges, heads of state-owned companies … violates a large number of Ukraine’s obligations to the EU, the IMF and other donors, Tsabal believes. – By violating these obligations, we may lose a significant part of the budget financing in the future. And, let me remind you, now more than 50% of the budget … is financed by our donors and partners.
