The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine manages to compensate for the losses at the front, said the head of the Ministry of Defense.
The mobilization plan adopted in Ukraine in February last year has not yet been completed. There is no need to announce a new mobilization. Defense Minister Aleksei Reznikov stated this in an interview with Delfi.lt.
“Given the current situation, this plan (mobilization plan – ed.), which was adopted for implementation in February last year, is definitely not completed and, moreover, will not be exceeded. We have not even finished it,” the head of Defense. The Ministry said..
According to Reznikov, there is no need to announce a new mobilization
“The General Staff continues to be able to compensate for the losses that we, unfortunately, are carrying, at a calm, gradual pace, and, of course, we do not experience a lack of manpower,” said defense minister
Currently, the training of units that will take part in the counteroffensive is of particular importance, Reznikov insisted.
Recall that earlier the Ministry of Defense said that the mobilized Ukrainians were not sent to the front line without proper training.
As you know, the Verkhovna Rada approved the orders of President Volodymyr Zelensky on the extension of martial law and general mobilization from February 19 for another 90 days – until May 18.
