Law enforcement officers documented the facts of forcible removal by the invaders of more than 1 thousand Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied regions in the south and east of Ukraine. During September-October 2022, the enemy, under the guise of “voluntary evacuation”, took minors to Sevastopol. This was reported by the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine.
The Russians attracted the owner of one of the Crimean travel agencies, which helped deport orphans and hundreds of children whose parents were illegally detained by the occupiers while trying to leave the war zone. They took minors from Kherson, Melitopol, Donetsk, Lugansk and Makeevka to the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Investigators of the special services have already informed the owner of the travel agency about the suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 111-1 (collaboration activity) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Currently, the attacker is hiding in the temporarily occupied territory of southern Ukraine.
Recall, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk said that the Ukrainian authorities plan to create an international coalition to return orphans who were kidnapped by Russian invaders and taken to Russia.
